Bangladesh Agricultural University Admission 2016-2017

Bangladesh Agriculture University has published its admission circular for the session 2016-17 today.

There are 1200 seats in the university and students will be able to get admitted in 6 different faculties.

Eligibility to get admitted at BAU

Students who passed SSC in 2013 or 2014 and HSC in 2015 or 2016 may apply for the admission test.

Admission seekers need to have minimum GPA 9 combined in SSC and HSC examinations.

Among all the applicants, max 12000 will have the opportunity to sit for the admission test.

How to Apply for Admission of BAU

Admission seekers can apply through online or via SMS. Both methods are stated below.

To apply online, visit www.admission.bau.edu.bd and fill application form. After submission of the form, a bill number will be given to pay application fee.

To apply via SMS, Type

MMS<space>BAU<space>SSC Roll<space>SSC Reg. No.<space>SSC Year<space>1st 3 letters of SSC Board<space>HSC Roll<space>HSC Reg. No. <space>HSC year<space>1st 3 letters of HSC Board

And send it to 6969

Example: MMS BAU 123456 2345678 2014 123456 2345678 2016 and send it to 6969.

In the return SMS, a Bill Number will be given to pay application fee.

Application fee 700tk can be paid through Dutch Bangla Bank. Applicants need to send application fee to the university’s Biller ID 336. After the transaction is completed, a transaction ID will be sent to the mobile number. This ID should be preserved with care for future use.

Admit Card Download of BAU

Applicants will be able to download Admit Card from October 16 to October 27. Before downloading Admit card, applicants need to upload a colored photograph (JPG format). Then he/she will have to print it in A4 size.

Recommended:  SUST admission test to be held on 26 November

Without admit card, no applicants will be able to enter into the examination hall.

Admission Test of BAU

The seat plan for the admission test will be published in the university’s website on October 27.

Admission test will be held on October 29 at 11 am in the university’s premises.

MSQ from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology will carry 100 marks in the test. 0.25 mark will be cut for every wrong answer.

Minimum pass mark is 30.
